Over the past few months, we have had the pleasure of working closely with Synthdawg to create an updated manual for the T-1 update 2.0. Synthdawg is well-known for their approach to manuals, which they refer to as “Notebooks.” These manuals are written from the perspective of the user, focusing on the “how” rather than the “what.” This approach helps to give users a gentle introduction to using the instrument and saving technical details for later exploration.
At Torso Electronics, we believe in a similar approach to musical instruments. We design our instruments with the mantra “low entry fee, high ceiling for expression.” This means that our instruments should be easy to use, even for first-time users, but also offer endless opportunities for exploration and expression.
We are thrilled to release the entirely rewritten official manual by Synthdawg for the T-1, which can be found on our support page.
Synthdawg is also working on a cheat sheet for the T-1 to make it even easier for new users to get started with the instrument. You can find a range of Synthdawg’s other Notebooks on their website.
